I'm a strategist, researcher, writer, systems thinker, and builder. I see patterns across ideas, information, and operations—and I'm especially interested in the value that's easy to miss when you're standing too close to it. Operational transformation in a veterinary healthcare business. Work included analyzing financial and operational performance, redesigning staffing and workflows around actual demand, improving inventory and cost controls, increasing visibility into provider production and labor utilization, modernizing operational systems, and staying close to implementation to determine whether changes were actually working.
Net income increased 159% while revenue grew approximately 1.2%—a significant improvement in operating performance without significant topline growth.
